Angie Walker took advantage of NAMC's Cardiac Bundle and discovered it was a decision she was glad she made.

The bundle, which includes a carotid screening, a AAA screening, an ankle brachial index and a CT calcium score costs only $175 and does not file with any insurance.

Although Walker's results found no blockages in her arteries, an ultasound revealed thyroid nodules in her neck. 

"If I had not signed up for the bundle, they would not have found the cancer," said Walker. It was not showing up in any type of bloodwork I was having. The entire process was very easy, I was in and out in less than an hour and a half."

The early detection helped Walker treat the cancer before more damage was done.

"My advice is to get this done," she added. "Not just for yourself, but get it done for your family."
