Chest Pain Accreditation with Primary PCI

NAMC has received full accreditation as a Chest Pain Center with Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention from the American College of Cardiology’s Accreditation Services. Primary Stroke Center Certification

In September 2023, North Alabama Medical Center earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® and the American Stroke Association’s Heart-Check mark for Primary Stroke Certification. The process and resulting certification are the latest examples of the high-quality and consistent care offered at NAMC.

Get with the Guidelines Gold Plus Award

North Alabama Medical Center has also received the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines® - Stroke Gold Plus quality achievement award for its commitment to ensuring stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized, research-based guidelines, ultimately leading to more lives saved and reduced disability. NAMC also received the American Heart Association’s Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll award.
